STACKFORCE at embedded world 2025 – A look back at an incredible event

On March 11, it was that time of year again: embedded world 2025 opened its doors in Nuremberg, welcoming technology enthusiasts from around the globe. As the leading event for the embedded industry, embedded world is a must-attend gathering for innovators and tech leaders – and we at STACKFORCE were proud to be part of it once again!

Showcasing innovation at our booth

We had the pleasure of presenting our latest innovations at Hall 4, Booth 4-147. Over the course of the event, our experts Konrad Aicher, David Rahusen, and Mario Behringer were on-site to engage in meaningful conversations with visitors, discussing the latest trends and solutions in the embedded industry.

A major highlight at our booth was an interactive live demo that allowed visitors to expe-rience our protocol stack solutions in action. Using body height measurement as an example, visitors could see real-time data transmission via LoRaWAN®, Wireless M-Bus, and mioty®. The live dashboard displayed:

  • Daily and overall statistics – average height and total measurements
  • Latest measurement details – most recent height recorded and the technology used
  • Transmission performance – communication stats for each technology (e.g., RSSI)

This hands-on experience gave visitors a deeper understanding of how STACKFORCE solu-tions enable seamless and reliable communication for smart metering and sensor applications.

A Spotlight on collaboration and industry recognition

We were honored to participate in two major events during embedded world:

  • STMicroelectronics Product Presentation
Philippe Simonnet from STMicroelectronics delivered an insightful presentation at the Exhibitor Forum about the new STM32WL33 RF SoC. He highlighted our OMS® Protocol Stacks v4.5.1 for end devices and gateways – ready to go and fully compatible with the new SoC!
  • mioty® Event at the Fraunhofer IIS Booth
Konrad Aicher took the stage at an exciting mioty® event hosted by Fraunhofer IIS to pre-sent our mioty® Stack portfolio. We are proud to contribute to the growing market adoption of mioty® with our future-proof software solutions.

Introducing our latest innovation

Alongside our trusted protocol stacks – now available on even more platforms from leading semiconductor manufacturers – we were thrilled to introduce a new solution: the LoRaWAN® Application Protocols Module. This innovation enables firmware updates over-the-air (FUOTA) independently of the stack being used – a game-changing solution for future-proofing embedded systems.

Thank you for an amazing event!

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to our partners and everyone who visited our booth. Your interest and engagement made embedded world 2025 an unforgettable experience. We’re already looking forward to next year – when it’s once again that time of year!
