STACKFORCE is a founding member of the mioty Alliance

“Updated: 13.04.2026”

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the mioty Alliance and are proud to be a founding member, together with Fraunhofer IIS, Texas Instruments, Diehl Metering, Diehl Connectivity Solutions, ifm, WIKA and Ragsol.

The mioty Alliance brings together leading technology providers and industry experts with a shared goal: to establish mioty® as a global standard for massive IoT communication and to accelerate the adoption of reliable, scalable and energy‑efficient wireless solutions across industries.

mioty® – A breakthrough in massive IoT communication

Together with our fellow Alliance members, we aim to empower industries and communities with one of the most robust, efficient and scalable massive IoT technologies available today: mioty®.

mioty® is hardware‑independent and built on a unique and patented telegram splitting technology, which fundamentally changes the way wireless IoT communication works. By splitting data packets into small sub‑packets and transmitting them redundantly across different frequencies, mioty® achieves exceptional reliability and interference immunity – even in highly congested radio environments.

As a result, mioty®:

  • Aggregates millions of messages with a single base station
  • Achieves unmatched resistance to interference
  • Enables ultra‑low power consumption for long battery lifetimes
  • Supports both static and mobile devices, even at speeds of up to 120 km/h
  • Covers long communication ranges exceeding 15 kilometers

These characteristics make mioty® a powerful foundation for mass data collection and large‑scale IoT deployments.

Enabling Smart Cities, industrial IoT and beyond

With its focus on scalability, energy efficiency and robustness, mioty® is particularly well suited for verticals that depend on reliable, long‑range and massive data transmission. Typical use cases include Industrial IoT, Smart Cities, infrastructure monitoring and large‑scale sensor networks – scenarios where conventional wireless technologies quickly reach their limits.

The launch of the mioty Alliance marks an important milestone in creating a strong ecosystem around the technology, ensuring interoperability, long‑term availability and continuous innovation.

STACKFORCE: Supporting the mioty® ecosystem

As a founding member of the mioty Alliance, STACKFORCE actively supports the mission of making mioty® a practical and widely adopted IoT technology.

Our role within the ecosystem is to help turn the technology into real‑world solutions – by contributing expertise across software solutions, network components, system integration, customer support and optimization. With our strong background in IoT connectivity, protocol stacks and embedded software, STACKFORCE helps partners and customers build reliable and scalable mioty®‑based systems.
