We look back on a successful participation at embedded eorld 2023. As a global platform and industry meeting point for the embedded community, the event is a guarantee for good conversations, knowledge exchange and networking with leading experts from all over the world.

On March 13, 2023, STACKFORCE GmbH and Diehl Metering, global provider of smart metering solutions, entered into a strategic partnership. STACKFORCE founder Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora and Managing Director David Rahusen were guests at Diehl Metering to finalize the merger.

Today, STACKFORCE GmbH can look back on several successful years in the development of embedded software. Company founder Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora was already active in research & development before STACKFORCE was founded and still is today. What is his role in the company and what where significant milestones of STACKFORCE for CEO David Rahusen? In a short interview, there are interesting insights into the management of the company.

It all started in 2002, when Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora founded the Steinbeis Transfer Center (stzedn) for Design and Networking. This was followed in 2005 by the Steinbeis Research Institute for Wireless Communication (sfidk) and in 2007 by the Steinbeis Innovation Center for Embedded Design and Networking (sizedn). STACKFORCE took over the implementation of individual customer projects and research could be continued within the research institute.

STACKFORCE participated in the CAREER recruiting fair at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences to meet talented students and young professionals. Our team had great conversations about job opportunities and internships in the field of IoT and embedded software.

STACKFORCE participated in the mioty® PlugFest 2022 to test the interoperability of its mioty® Stack with partner solutions. The event provided valuable insights into the development of mioty-based IoT applications and offered an excellent opportunity for networking and collaboration.

The agriculture sector is increasingly engaged in digitizing processes that are cumbersome and time-consuming to implement manually. In our use case, we focused on Smart Dairy Farming. In our video, we show how digitization can work in agriculture and how exactly Protocol Stacks from STACKFORCE can support this. The use case illustrates the benefits for the end user of networking devices on the farm.
