Flexibility and quick reaction are key elements for modern and efficient IoT networks. Depending on infrastructure conditions and network coverage, one technology is not enough to run an IoT network efficiently. So, another solution is needed! Within a multi-stack, several communication technologies are combined for wireless data transmission. In this way, stacks can be selected to suit the use case. Once set up, the various protocols can be individually controlled during operation.

Nothing is changing as fast as digitilization. Every day, new "smart" devices are introduced to the market that, once integrated into the IoT network, have to share the existing radio networks with many devices. Especially in metropolitan areas, this leads to increasing problems due to interference and the resulting loss of data.

After an intensive development phase, we can now present our Wired M-Bus Stack for meter, which complements the Wireless M-Bus offering with a high-performance, wired solution. The stack enables remote reading of water, electricity, gas or heat meters as well as data collection and transmission of sensor values in a wired M-Bus network. A classic application example is remote meter reading in properties where many meters are installed comparatively close to each other.

The agriculture sector is increasingly engaged in digitizing processes that are cumbersome and time-consuming to implement manually. In our use case, we focused on Smart Dairy Farming. In our video, we show how digitization can work in agriculture and how exactly Protocol Stacks from STACKFORCE can support this. The use case illustrates the benefits for the end user of networking devices on the farm.

We look back on a successful participation at embedded world 2022. Together with other members, STACKFORCE represented the mioty® Alliance at mioty's own booth and presented its own solutions such as the mioty® Protocol Stack as Single or multi-Stack and the Wireless M-Bus-to-LPWAN Bridge.
